Studio 20 was approached by Stanford to help develop their latest robotics platform. The goal was to create a full feature robot that can be used to study how a robot should interact with people. Everything from eye contact, head moments, and other body language would be explored. The Robot’s design balances a soft and friendly form with mechanical elements that were needed for exposing 14 different LIDAR and camera sensors.
